About Us
Founded by a small group of engineers, teachers and volunteers in Jaipur, Global Warming Control Organization Trust began with a single check-dam project in a drought-hit village. Today we run integrated programs across watershed management, tree plantation, education and women's skill-building — always designed with, not just for, the communities we serve.
Our approach is simple: restore the natural resource base, build local capacity, and create pathways to dignified livelihoods — especially for women and youth — while doing our part to control global warming.

Skill-training, self-help groups and micro-enterprise support that build financial independence for women.
Baseline surveys and field research that map village-level income, livelihoods and resource use to guide program design.
Household-level data collection on population, migration and access to services, used to target interventions where they're needed most.
Check-dams, percolation ponds and rainwater harvesting structures that recharge groundwater and reduce soil erosion.
Community-level actions — from renewable energy pilots to sustainable farming practices — that reduce local carbon footprints.
Surveys and pilot programs on household and community waste segregation, composting and reduction.
Measuring emissions from local activities to identify practical, low-cost ways communities can shrink their environmental impact.
Community-led tree plantation drives using native species to restore degraded land and improve local microclimates.
